1. Facial mask for oily skin

Combined with a little lemon juice, gelatin can create an incredible astringent mask for anyone who wants to control excess oil production on their face.

Its properties control the pH of the skin and thus reduce the accumulated sebum, to prevent blackheads and pimples.

In addition, gelatin has an exfoliating effect that facilitates the removal of dead cells to obtain a cleaner and more even skin.

Ingredients

  • 1 sachet of tasteless gelatin
  • ½ cup of hot water (125 ml)
  • ½ cup of lemon juice (125 ml)
  • 1 piece of cotton

Preparation

  • Dilute the contents of one sachet of gelatin in half a cup of hot water.
  • Then stir until a homogeneous liquid is obtained.
  • Then add the lemon juice and stir once more to mix well.

Method of application

  • Soak a cotton ball in the product and apply it all over your face.
  • Let dry and remove with lukewarm water.
  • Repeat the application of this treatment at least 3 times a week to keep the skin fresh.

2. Facial and body exfoliant

Combining gelatin with an ingredient like corn flour can make a natural exfoliant to eliminate blackheads and all those impurities that affect the quality of the skin.

Thanks to the properties of gelatin, these gelatin treatments can be applied to all skin types, as they will not alter natural oils and will act as a moisturizer.

Ingredients

  • ½ teaspoon of corn flour (7.5 g)
  • ½ teaspoon of tasteless gelatin (5 g)
  • 2 tablespoons of lukewarm water (20 ml)

Preparation

  • Mix all the ingredients until a thick paste forms.

Method of application

  • Moisten the skin, then apply the product with a gentle circular massage.
  • Leave it on for 10 minutes and rinse it off.
  • Apply this treatment up to twice a week for radiant skin.

3. Hair treatment

To improve the appearance of hair and reduce hair loss, it is good to add a little gelatin in your regular shampoo.

  • ½ cup tasteless gelatin (125 g)

  • 235 ml shampoo

Preparation

  • Dilute the gelatin in half a cup of water then pour the liquid into a 235 ml shampoo container.

Method of application

  • Shake the product before using and then apply it like a shampoo.

4. Facial mask to hydrate and rejuvenate
